What is needed:
- Computer with internet access
- QuickBooks Online or other accounting package
- DropBox account
- Folder on desktop to be used as temp landing for DropBox files
We will customize a system to best match the needs of each client. We can do as little, from just reconciling accounts or as much bookkeeping as needed, including; entering purchase orders, estimates, bills, writing checks, preparing invoices, receive payments, making deposits, entering time from timesheets, payroll entries, job costing and reports
As the client conducts their normal business, client will copy or scan documents to the temp folder on the desktop, any online bill payments will be saved as a pdf to the desktop folder. Any deposits made, will be copied and/or scan to desktop folder. Bank and credit card statements can be saved as a pdf to the desktop folder. At the end of the day or week, cut and paste docs to the DropBox folder. We will do the rest.
We will set up a digital file cabinet using DropBox. At the end of the year the client will have a digital file that can be copied and archived to be stored with their tax returns.
